9 months old

Reese had her nine month checkup today. Aside from screaming at the sight of Dr. Lakey and her shot it went well. She weighs 19 lbs and is 27.5 inches long. (Both 50%) While we were sitting in the waiting room she heard a man's voice behind her so she started saying Dada and turned around looking for him. Her stranger and separation anxiety is definitely at it's worst. She understands (and cries at) the word no, says yeah and claps, waves bye-bye, copies us when we say hi and says it back to us, pulls herself up and moves around the coffee table and is crawling all over the place. When you point to your cheek she gives you a kiss. Her favorite thing to do is play peek a boo and this little piggy and she loves bathtime (she figured out how fun splashing is and gets us and the floor soaked)! She loves to munch on snacks and only likes to feed herself. She finally likes her stroller and goes for walks with Daddy almost every day. Oh yeah - and she still doesn't sleep through the night!

May 21

We had to bring Reese to the Doctor today for her first rash - as I suspected it was from us switching her from Pampers Baby Dry to Pampers Cruisers.

Weight Update at 8.5 months: 18lbs 5oz.

More teeth

Reese's top two teeth are coming through now and these two aren't as easy as the last two. Poor thing is miserable :( She is crawling and climbing up a storm now and has started waving and clapping. Still not that into babyfood but anything we are eating - watch out!

8 Months Old

Reese started crawling this month, although not very gracefully. She definitely prefers her personal taxi, Mommy and Daddy! Her 9 month appt is in a couple weeks and we can't wait to see how big she is. I'll post some new pics soon...

First Teeth

Reese's bottom two teeth finally popped through. We discovered them when she bit Daddy on the nose! She is also saying Dada all the time now.
