Reese's 1st Halloween

For Halloween Reese was a Patriots Cheerleader and boy was she adorable! She stayed home with me and helped me hand out candy to all the kids. Colin was a vampire and of all the costumes I saw that night, his was by far the best! All the Grandparents came over for Dinner to see the kids dressed up and then Colin and Greg went out trick or treating all over the town. Surprisingly they didn't get much candy...I dont know who was more disappointed, Colin or Greg!

The Wait is Over

The Wait is Over...

With much joy we welcome...

Reese Diem Bartholomew

September 1, 2007

6 lbs. 1 oz. 19 in. 4:22 pm

After weeks of bedrest for PIH, I went for my checkup and found out my blood pressure was 152 over 112...yikes! The Dr. decided it was time to get her out so we went in for an induction on Saturday, September 1st. Surprisingly the night before was the best night of sleep I had had in months...I was soooo ready! I was given misoprostol to get things started and told not to expect anything to happen for hours if not days. Well...she was ready and a few hours later after a fast and furious labor we had our little bundle of joy! We were still deciding on the name (I wanted Diem and Greg wanted Reese) but after I saw the proud Daddy how could I not let him name her. The Grandparents and the Proud Big Brother, Colin who was the most excited about her arrival all came to visit. The nurses all commented on how quiet she was during the stay at the hospital...little did we know...
